Crazy Pet Gang Cat Blog

July 8, 2007

This will be the first actual entry for the blog for the felines. We did yet another site make over, which I try to do once a year at least, or update it once a year... While it only gets any additions and changes regards to the overall site yearly, the blog will also be yearly on the past year events and happenings. More things were added this time around, and the felines are looking better.

During this past year from 2006-2007 we sadly regret to say we have lost Pooh... He disappeared in 2005 we found him shy before 2006, kept him locked in the house where for the longest time he begged to go outside. For some reason he never liked that house we bought seven years ago... We recently moved to another house across the street, he adapted, but still, he was very unhappy about the move. I kept him indoors for several months, and finally after weeks of begging and crying I let him out hoping I could train him to at least stay in the garage with the rest of the cats when I am not available for him. He did well for a week, then started drifting, I tried to keep calling him but he just one day totally disappeared yet again. It breaks my heart knowing he was so unhappy I have tried to consider relocating him into a new home but I know he would just be as unhappy, he was a one person cat, he was MINE, and I was His and ONLY his. I think of him often and I keep calling his name hoping maybe he will turn up at the old house or here, but nothing. I hope whatever has happened, of all things he got placed in a new home, at least its a better thought for him. He was my first real cat, my longest, he was my honey, I loved him so dearly, and I will miss him always.

No more additions to this house of felines I love them all but we have yet to move again. Fluffy took the across the street move horribly she screamed for a week, and has never been trusting since, and we have yet to move again next year... I just hope that Fluffy can adapt to our constant moving we will be doing.

Bambi took the move very well she doesn't seem to care either way. Such a mellow gal she is, she will be of no concern at all.

Sully however was a bit confused and cried for a week wondering why in the world we are not going home! Poor fella just couldn't understand it all but he has been happier in the new house with a backyard we all actually USE! He has even stayed home more. I am not sure how he will take the next move he will miss his outdoor adventure sadly to say, I will need to lock him indoors along with the two girls.

Overall everyone is doing good, and enjoying the summer now. The winter will be hard again, as the girls will be lazy bums hanging about in the house. Sully doesn't seem to mind the snow, strange fella. Until next year...
